How To Find Us
Glenlee holiday houses are situated in the Glenkens, in the heart of Galloway in south-west Scotland. Only 90 minutes north-west of Carlisle and the M6, a similar distance south of Glasgow and the M77, the cottages are approximately 2½ hours south-west of Edinburgh.
The nearest train stations are Dumfries (45 minutes), Lockerbie (1 hour) and Ayr (45 minutes).
The nearest airport is Prestwick in Ayrshire (50 minutes). Glasgow and Edinburgh international airports are 90 minutes and 2 hours drive respectively.
By Car:
From New Galloway:
Leave the village on the A762 towards Ayr. After 2 miles
continue past the entrance to Glenlee Park on the left
and then a wooded park. Shortly after a narrow bridge
and as the main road forks round to the right, the entrance
to the cottages is on the left.
From Dalry: Turn off the A713 north
of Dalry on the A762 towards New Galloway. After a mile
and having crossed two bridges, the road forks round to
the left and the entrance to the cottages is on the right. |
